Well the prompt for today’s Blogtober was cars, however, my well planned out plan did not go to plan 🙄
Therefore I’m skipping to day 7 which is ‘goals’ 😂
Why? I hear you ask!
Well I’m so bloody unorganised at the moment that I need a kick up the bum. I had planned to organise and tidy out my car; sharing my tips on how I had done it. But that didn’t happen today (due to my unorganised-ness). So I will instead do that on day 7!
Lost? Yeah me too, a bit 😂
Anyway, after a ridiculously stressful day, I have sat down and organised myself for October and thought I would share with you how I like to plan my time and set goals for myself. I have been doing a bullet style journal I guess, although it’s just a lined notebook really!
First of all I like to have a full view of the month ahead, with any important dates/birthdays highlighted. I then make a list of important dates/birthdays for next month that I need to buy cards/presents/plan outfits or babysitters for. Getting a month ahead of myself with these things really helps me to feel organised. Then I set myself various goals for the month. I have 3 cleaning tasks, that if I didn’t schedule I’d never get done. (These are the tasks that I tend to put off – I do of course do normal cleaning tasks every day/week!) Then I plan my videos and blog posts too.
In the past, I have also found it effective to set myself a daily schedule. It really helps me to manage my time more effectively. So I am planning on following this little routine again this month.
Each day I plan to do 1 activity for Jessie and 1 activity for Josie. This stops me from having mum guilt! (N.B. I’m at work from 8.30 – 1.30 everyday!)
Now I just need to try and stick to my plan!! That’s always the tricky part 🙈
So basically my goal for this month is to follow my plans and get organised!
Do you have any goals for this month? How do you manage to stay on track? I’d love to hear any tips and tricks… I’m in desperate need!
Oh and just for the record, I guess my day wasn’t that bad. I did have a lovely lunch date with my Dad and Jessie doll ☺️
