The Tiger Who Came to Tea | A new addition to Jessie’s book collection | AD

Today, Jessie was very excited to find a new book on her shelf… The Tiger Who Came to Tea by Judith Kerr. She’s going to be even more excited on Monday when we go to see the live show at The Grand Theatre in Blackpool!

The Tiger Who Came to Tea is a story about a little girl called Sophie, who is just getting ready to have her tea when the door bell rings. She is surprised to find a Tiger at the door! Jessie loves any books with animals in and had a great time growling at the Tiger in the book!

Tigers Tea Live has been a huge success in the West End, so when we were kindly invited to go and see the show we jumped at the chance! The show is coming to Blackpool for two days only – 30th and 31st October 2017. Tickets are still available for this family friendly show through the Grand Theatre website, so if you fancy doing something a bit different this half term then get it booked in!

This interactive show is guaranteed to have the little ones entertained from start to finish, with magic and sing a long songs. It lasts for 55 minutes, with no interval, which will be just the right amount of time for Jessie.

We have decided to go to the 4.30pm showing so we can make a nice family evening of it and go out for tea in Blackpool afterwards. I will be writing a blog post about our experience so be sure to check my blog on Monday evening!

Have you taken your little ones to any shows like this recently? I’d love to hear any recommendations and how you got on! Also, let me know if you are planning on going to see The Tiger Who Came to Tea!
